Urgent: Due to coronavirus concerns, in an effort to ensure the health and wellbeing of our instructors and students, the National Safety Council and the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (MA RMV) have canceled all all MA classroom 4-hour Driver Attitudinal Retraining Programs (Alive at 25) and 4-hour State Courts Against Road Rage Programs (SCARR) until further notice.
NOW AVAILABLE: MA RMV has temporarily approved an alternative way to deliver the statutorily required content in the form of a 4-hour online class. For a limited time, your participation in the online course will fulfill your in-person class requirement. The process is easy and convenient, and the online course can be completed anywhere you have an internet connection.
Upon successful completion of the online MA Driver Attitudinal Retraining Program (Alive at 25) or Online State Courts Against Road Rage (SCARR) course, your completion will be sent electronically to the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles. This process can take 1-2 business days after completion. You will receive a Certificate of Completion in the mail within 7-10 days for your personal records.
You may check your current license status at any time by accessing your profile at Mass.gov/RMV.
Alive at 25 is a highly interactive 4-hour intervention program that zeros in on drivers ages 16 to 24, the group most likely to be involved in a fatal collision. Alive at 25 uses workbook exercises, group discussions, role-playing and short lectures to help keep young drivers safe on the road.
Course fee is $90 and payable by credit card through our online registration site. You can reschedule to a different date or location at no cost up to the day prior to the start date of your chosen class date. Rescheduling on or after the start date of your class will required a mandatory, non-refundable rescheduling fee.
