Engage Students in the National Safety Council

The NSC Young Professionals Division has organized a free undergraduate student mentor program that partners working safety and health professionals (Young Professionals Division members) with active NSC undergraduate student members. Students will regularly communicate with their mentor, who can assist with educational questions, give career advice, connect students with possible work or internship opportunities, recommend professional resources and more.

Undergraduate university students interested in working with a mentor should contact Sarah van Huis, NSC program manager. Interested student members should indicate their field of interest so they can be matched with a mentor most effectively.

Chairman's Message

The Young Professional’s Division welcomes safety professionals under age 46 from all industries with the goal of bringing together like minded safety driven individuals to improve safety across all segments. Our Division provides a great opportunity for anyone interested in getting involved in the National Safety Council to become familiar with the Divisions and the Council as a whole. We welcome you and look forward to working with you help eliminate preventable deaths in our lifetime.
