Educational Opportunities

The Women’s Division hosts two webinar series each year: the Women in Leadership series, and a series to educate all safety professionals on common workplace hazards that may affect female employees differently or disproportionately.

Tell Your Story

Are you interested in sharing your safety story? The National Safety Council has three opportunities:

• For all Safety Professionals: Safety+Health Magazine highlights safety professionals in the “My Story” section of the magazine. About 500 words, for individuals at all levels.
• For Safety Professionals with 15 or more years of experience: Tell us how you’ve seen safety change during your career in the Safety First Blog. An interview form will be sent to you, and the series is posted on nsc.org and LinkedIn.
• Are you interested in presenting a webinar or participating in a panel discussion for the Women in Leadership or educational series? Contact sarah.vanhuis@nsc.org for more information.

Promote Women in Safety

Do you know a woman safety leader who should be considered for the Distinguished Service to Safety or Marion Martin awards? Submissions are accepted through Nov. 9. More information can be found at nsc.org/awards or by emailing awards@nsc.org.
